Artist's Description
\"Fractured Fairy Tales\" is a timeline of sorts. It starts out in childhood and ends with a disabled soldier coming home and starting life anew. This piece uses old photos from discarded books and magazines as well as needlework, fused glass, old toys, barbed wire, metal, leaves, acrylic paints and a hollowed out \"coffee table\" book. I wrote a short poem on the right margin to help illustrate what this collage is about.
